EVENT RULES:

• Homecoming Dance is open to ALL CURRENTLY enrolled Santa Fe High school Students and (1) guest per SFHS student who is also enrolled in a local high school. 

• If you would like to bring (1) guest from another school, they will also need to provide a valid ID and their student # as well upon entry. 

• As always, NO RE-ENTRY for any reason. Once you are in the building, you are in for the night. NO EXCEPTIONS.

• NO large purses. Small hand bags are not suggested, but can be brought for personal items/keys that YOU are responsible for keeping track of. Big Red Org will not be held responsbile for your belongings. Woman's products will be provided in the restrooms.

• All small purses, shoes, boots, jackets are subject to search.

• NO COOLERS allowed.

• In the event of a need to carry medicine, please email the Big Red Parent Organization AHEAD OF THE EVENT. Email to info@bigredorg.com

• All attendees could be subject to a breathalyzer test if law enforcement suspects something.

• All Non-Santa Fe students are subject to a background check prior to the event or at the event by the method Big Red Parent Organization sees fit.

• Tobacco, vaping, drugs, alcohol, weapons, etc. are NOT permitted.

• NO animals are allowed.

• Must be in appropriate dress attire. 

• All attendees and (1) guests must show proof of ticket and valid photo ID.

• All attendees and (1) guests must comply with any and all instructions given by the administration or chaperones.

• Any non-compliance with these rules and regulations will result in the exiting of the attendee and their guest from the premises.

REFUND POLICY: 

• ALL SALES FINAL. NO REFUNDS.  In the event that the event is canceled by the Big Red Organization due to host site location issues, weather, etc, the current ticket holders ticket(s) will be transferred to the new date of event if applicable.

• If the SFHS ticket holder is unable to make the event, YOU are able to sell your ticket on your own for the same purchased price, but please contact us so we can update the RSVP list and accept the new student name. MUST BE DONE BEFORE THE EVENT BEGINS, NOT ONSITE. No exceptions. If the SFHS student is the one who cannot attend the event, the non-SHFS guest WILL NOT be able to attend either. • If a ticket holder is no longer able to attend the scheduled date for any reason, the ticket(s) will be voided and the ticket sale proceeds will be donated to future Big Red Parent Organization events and activities. No exceptions.

• Any attempts to withdraw your ticket payment through bank/payment account will be refused and not accepted. 

• Red & Gray ticket sales will be applied to Big Red Parent Organization student activities including, but not limited, to the Red and Grey Dance. The Big Red Parent Organization is built solely of volunteers.

 

DRESS CODE:

The Big Red Parent Organization sees the Red and Gray Dance is a special night for Santa Fe students; we hope to maintain the integrity and formality of this special occasion by implementing a respectable and appropriate dress code. 

 

ATTIRE:

• Remember this is a SEMI-FORMAL dance, bring your style!

• Appropriate Footwear should be worn: no flip flops, slides, etc. Shoes, boots, jackets are subject to search.

• All dresses must be of an appropriate length without showing off your goods!

• Non-formal headwear (baseball caps, do-rags, bandannas, etc.) will not be allowed.

• Button-up shirts with ties are respectable and strongly suggested, but not required.​

EVENT SAFETY:

• Big Red Parent Organization takes pride in its students for academic excellence and a safe atmosphere. In being a guest at any BRO special event, there are several rules you are expected to follow. Must be a guest of a currently enrolled Santa Fe student and be a responsible citizen. Homecoming Guests must be enrolled in an Alachua County High school. Guests of all high school students must be in at least 9th grade and not exceed 20 years old. Guests cannot have any drug or violence charges.

• The Big Red Parent Organization has taken a strong stance against alcohol and drugs. The use of illegal drugs and the unlawful possession and use of alcohol will be dealt with by local law enforcement notification with possible charges and/or arrest of those not enrolled in Alachua County schools. Possession, sale, transfer, distribution, or use of any form of alcoholic beverage, drugs with abuse potential, hallucinogens, or similar items, except those specifically prescribed by a physician, is prohibited. The use, possession, distribution, and sale of tobacco products will result in proper law enforcement action. The Big Red Parent Organization has zero-tolerance for crimes, violence, and weapons. Local law enforcement authorities shall be notified when any crime or delinquent act is committed at a Big Red Parent Organization Special event / sponsored activity.
